Born in Liverpool, England, Jude is a longtime resident in sunny Miami Beach, after living in six European countries including Greece and Switzerland where she picked up five languages along the way.
As an actor, mime, musician, and creator of characters from Charlie Chaplin to Julia Tuttle to Carmen Miranda, she successfully established Gold Coast Theatre Company presenting stars such as Davy Jones of the Monkees and raising over two million dollars in public and private funding for the company’s diverse programs. She toured Prague, London, Athens, Paris, Edinburgh, New York, Toronto, Taiwan and Hong Kong, as well as many states within the USA.
After making her name and fame in show business for forty years and counting, Jude has turned to painting and she brings the same talent and staying power to her new career.
Her first medium of choice is watercolor- that most delicate and ethereal of media; but Jude is impelled to bring a theatrical eye to her paintings supercharging them with intensity, drama, and eye-popping color, reminiscent of her dearest love- the stage.
Whether performing on the stage; painting at her easel; or engaged in yoga, water sports or meditation as part of her lifelong pursuit of holistic living, Jude continues to promote the arts as part of a healthy, happy society.
